Headwaters Park Skyride

Visitors to the Shopping Boardwalk may easily travel to and from the Nightlife Boardwalk by means of the Headwaters Sky Ride. Riders enjoy breathtaking views of the St. Mary's River, Lawton Park, and the Old Fort District as their gondola travels directly above Headwaters Park from one end of the boardwalk to the other. 

Sky Ride terminals are conveniently located near the Historic Old Fort (Nightlife Boardwalk) as well as the entrance to the Wells Street Corridor (Shopping Boardwalk) next to the Ferris Wheel.

The Headwaters Park Sky Ride features enclosed gondolas for year-round use as well as the latest technology to make the ride wind-resistant.

Harrison Square Terminal

From the the Wells Street Corridor, the Skyride continues across the St. Mary's above Ewing Street to Harrison Square. Gondola riders are treated to a bird's eye view of the Wizards new stadium from above the outfield bleachers.

The Harrison Square terminal stands atop the parking garage, providing hotel guests year-round access to Wells Street and the Shopping and Nightlife Boardwalks. Three Rivers Apartment residents can "walk" to a Wizards game by catching the sky ride near the Historic Old Fort. During the off-season, residents and tourists alike may park in the garage and travel to the North River area for shopping and recreation.
